Components - Repair and Overhaul
Being authorized to carry out component repair
and overhaul services for the Bell 206A/B and Bell 206L is
just another service offered at Hill Aircraft Service.
Hill Aircraft is approved to carry out
structural repairs and modifications on both helicopters and fixed wing
aircraft. From minor dent to major reconstruction - there is no job too
big or too small. Our qualified and dedicated staff complete each and
every project with the same high standard and attention to detail.
We are proud of our past projects and excited
about our current ones. It is with enthusiasm and the commitment of
providing quality workmanship that our team tackles every new aircraft.
Whether it is a Single Otter from Anchorage, Alaska, or a helicopter
from Hawaii, a 1947 Seabee or an older Cessna 180, each and every
aircraft undergoes a remarkable transformation. And in addition to the
repairs and aesthetics there is always the possibility of an engine
conversion or other modification. Who knows - the aircraft you have
always wanted - may be your own - just refurbished.
Custom Paint and Design
Our self-contained paint booth and nearby
paint preparation facility allow staff to complete paint projects
quickly and efficiently. From touch-ups to complete paint jobs every
step in the process is carried out carefully and methodically while
adhering to environmental standards. Trained staff at Hill can
assist the customer in choosing a fresh new look. Whether your goal is to be noticed in the marketplace or improve the appearance
of a private aircraft - the possibilities are as endless as the range of colours and graphics available.
Upholstery: Utility or Corporate Use
Nothing improves the inside appearance of an
aircraft quite like new upholstery. Whether it is functional utility or
"statement-making" corporate, a wide variety of materials and
colours are available. Add to that a custom embroidered logo or design
and a new carpet and the make-over is complete.
Appraisals and Audits
We have experience in providing appraisals for
financing purposes, insurance requests and determining re-sale value for
both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. Pre-sale inspections and
reviewing of log books have been of benefit to a number of our customers
considering an aircraft purchase. Or perhaps you require an audit to be
conducted on a charter company transporting your personnel. We have
experience in all of these areas and in locations from Canada to South
America. For any of these specialized services please feel free to
This is an area where resources, skill, and
ingenuity have proven to be the winning combination. The challenges of
weather, terrain, aircraft type and access must always be addressed.
Aircraft have been recovered using scuba gear, air support, overhead
cranes, trucks, river boats - the list goes on. Working with insurance
companies and private owners to retrieve aircraft involved in minor
mishaps or more unfortunate and major incidents has provided our team
with invaluable experience in the recovery process. Our aim is to
salvage as much as possible without causing any further damage and
subsequent expense. It requires patience, careful planning and a
knowledge of aircraft structure and design. We hope you don't need to
recover an aircraft - but if you do - we can help.
